Post battle chat

It would be cool if chat was still open in the post battle screen.  There are so many games I've been in with such an epic close battle, I want to be like "Holy sh*t that was awesome!  Thank you guys!  Great game! etc."  A lot of other games have this, would be nice if we did too.

 

Also, queue chat would be cool too, especially in ranked so I can say "sky cancer get out!" to the CVs queuing.

Fixed that for you. 

 

I actually think that there should be an option to stay in chat post-battle. If it's productive, you participate. If that guy keeps ranting like he did throughout the battle, you just leave. I "met" some of my favorite division mates when they wrecked me in battle.

My guess is this would not be possible without first ovehauling the entire chat/battle interface (not likely to happen). My guess is a chat instance is created upon the creation of a battle instance. Said chat instance also closes upon closing of the battle instance. In order to keep the chat open, the battle instance would probably have to stay open - meaning server resources are being used, and people can't take their ships out. As nice as it could be (having won games before in the last second before) I honestly don't ever see it happening.
