Sure - my part was played badly because I wasn't camping with the others. Scouting, encounter the reds, engage, too busy to type in chat or hit the F7 for those campers two squares over toot tooting about, oblivious to the engagement going on just two squares away.... Enough... maybe tonight will be better. Hope you all have more success this Sunday.

Even though the possibilities of such actions during the weekdays are still possible and are close to the same likelihood as those on the weekends. Also everyone has a different play style. On some other games I play, I use play styles for weapons or classes that are not designed to do. However because I can play best at that style I can still make that class effective. Yup, it sucks when peeps camp, but if they are a group, move as a group or camp as a group. Peeps need to consider ship config and play style. Some do extremely well in a good camped position. I play snipers often so when somebody is pissed at me for ducking islands and holding range early in fight, it is clear they dont know the hull. When somebody moves off on their lonesome right into a ring of fire, I dont cover em, I let em die cause why should I move into a conga line of death and feed? Yeah, it sucks but sometimes it works and getting upset and running off to die spamming cover me is a good way to not get cover and lose the match cause you died early. A dead ship only helps the enemy. I have survived matches sub 100hp where I took bad hits early, but playing smart allowed me to survive and stay in fight and deal more damage. Some ships are best used as a camper... but in general, I agree with you. Especially with battleships that do more damage at closer range and can tank. Its boring to just sit and camp... unless of course I'm in Kututzov or Belfast which are better used for camping than out in the open taking citadel hits ;) b
