American BB Captain Skills?

What captain skills should the American BB line focus on? Both Starting out and onto the Fast BB later on in higher tiers?

It honestly does not matter, only EM is really mandatory. Secondary builds are kind of crap until Montana. I recommend getting SI/AFT/CE after mandatory EM. Everything else is a personal choice.

I went nuts on my Monty after the respecc. EM of course, but full stealth build, BFT/AFT, and Vigilance since I dropped TAS.

 

I end up with concealment better than the Moskva's minimum and like 800 AA dps in the inner circle and 7.5km range on the DP guns. Even my secondaries are decent at 7.6km iirc.

Concealment? Did I miss something? My Fleet Admiral on my Iowa is completely on AA build... I should better go for concealment?

On a 14-pt. captain (in NC) I went for Priority Target, Expert Marksman, Basics of Survival, Fire Prevention, and Concealment Expert, and will pick up AFT at 18 pts.

​Well, I prefer to have a nice concealment earlier than an AA build, because CVs are still rare.
