How the hell you supposed to chat after a match when only the first couple of god damned letters of the other player's name are showing?  Even less if he's been in Ranked battles and/or is in a clan.  Shouldn't have to go into replay to see who was on your team last match. Shouldn't have to take a pic of the battle screen with a cell phone during the match, either.  Shouldn't have to do anything but look at the Team Score screen to see everyone's entire name.  You know--like WOT and WOWP.  I guess the WG philosophy is "2 outta 3 ain't bad".

welcome to the way things are done by wg

they dont make it easy

they dont make it work right the first time

and they dont use inteligent design,

actually i think they  design by drinking lots of  vodka

but if you press enough keys, go to enough diffrent  pages,  dont piss off anyone in wg  ,and get drunk enough ,  then you just might be able to do what you  want.........eventually......maybe..... sometimes

Trust me, you don't want to get involved in the chat channels in-game, not unless you absolutely cannot avoid it. You will need many showers to remove the filth that will be spewed upon you if you venture into those depths.

And see children, this is the type of post that moderators love to see so that they can start hitting those big fat "warning" and "strike" buttons.

If you can't take a bit of criticism, and it's very valid, then never get on a public forum.

agreed, OP.  So many time I've wanted to message players from a battle, but can't see their names.  It makes no sense since when you're in battle, you can hover over the name to see it fully.

You can see a list of players when you press tab, I'm sure it's easy enough to do this to be able to capture their name.

Shouldn't have to take a pic of the battle screen with a cell phone during the match, either.

You can capture the screen by pressing "Print Screen". All images are saved to your "Screenshots" folder on whatever directory you installed the game at (by default C:\Games\World_of_Warships\Screenshots).

For further questions, please create a ticket. I'm sure support will be able to help you out: http://na.wargaming.net/support/

And please be reminded to treat everyone with respect and politeness. Thank you.

Woah.

Hold Tab in battle

Move your mouse to hover over player name. It will appear in 1-2 seconds,

Voila, tap Print Scrn and you don't have to worry about a phone and can get back to the battle
