8,187 [SOUP] Chobittsu Members 9,411 posts Report post #1 Posted March 4, 2017 So I was out in my Yamato, leading the charge as I always am, when suddenly a huge array of torpedos clouds my aft quarter. Most would immediately point the finger at me, however, I was sailing in a straight line in clear line of sight of my team. I didn't turn into the spread and this Mogami should have seen me clear as day.But I'm no stranger to being damaged by my own team, it happens... what makes me raise an eyebrow over this though... look at his turrets, they haven't moved from their starting positions, nor did his torpedo launcher on the other side. Even AFK ships that never load in from the start of a match have their cannons move to meet the forward crosshair... but this guy's guns didn't... Then theres the fact that he blasted a spread of torps up my stern... and then comes to a full stop? He never said a single thing during the match, not even to try and place blame on me like they always do...This one stands out with suspicion to me... think we might be dealing with a new breed of bot here? The ship torped my ally and then fired his guns at me. When I extracted myself enough to get a good look his guns were facing forward and back. Worst part was our missing hp cost us the nailbiter of a match. The torps can't fire without turning the guns afaik. Not sure if this is bot play or [edited], but somewhat similar scenarios. The AI may not be that careful, but they never target allies and certainly don't fire from out of effective weapons range. More likely whatever sod is doing this is firing then immediately disconnecting to make it look like he didn't do it intentionally and/or it's a result of bad internet. Filing a support ticket would probably be your best bet as to finding answers, since they can examine things server-side too.
