Is Devestating Strike not working?

On two occasions today I have hit ships with one salvo and killed them.  One was at 100% HP and the other was at 75% HP.  No devastating strike achievement.  In fact, now that I looked, I haven't had one since 2/24.

Well, that's one of them, at least.  Ignore the replay then, its coop.

It doesn't work in co-op as mentioned, and also, if an ally has a fire or a flood on the enemy ship, they can sometimes be credited with the kill (no one knows why, but that's how it works).

Oh it works - in random not co-op. You can ask the poor, full health Myoko who was setting up to torp me from 8km in the new and improved Baltimore. He did not get his torps off.
