Hello. I know I've seen quite a few videos of players showing how to correctly win a BB duel. The scene I'm describing is when:

1. Two battleships turn nose on and drive towards each other.

2. The more skilled player holds his fire and aims his guns where the other players citadel will be when they pass.

3. The same player angles out just a bit, then initiates a full rudder turn in towards the target and scores multiple citadel hits while providing a somewhat angled target.

4. In case #3 fails to sink the ship outright, the more skilled player points their stern at the enemy and continues sailing away, forcing the less skilled enemy to turn broadside to the retreating players rear guns for the final shot.

I'll be darned if I can find an example of this strategy on YouTube. I know I've seen it quite a few times in game play. Perhaps I'm searching for the wrong terms: battleship pass, battleship duel, broadside pass. Who knows? If you've seen an example of this recently, please post the link. Thanks!

While demonstrating with a Missouri, the strategy still holds for any other BB pass.

I mean, it can work. You're still at risk of getting rammed if the enemy reacts properly.
