SO I finally got around to reviewing the IJN Destroyer Kamikaze!  For those who like waxing nostalgic about what the Minekaze used to be this is the ship for you!  She's everything the post torp nerf pre IJN DD split Minekaze was!

Let me know what you guys think! :)

Well, I would say good review, other than the fact that the ship's no longer available. So, really, if you don't already have it....

On the initial contact with that Phoenix, when you launched your torps at him, then he turned the wrong way, going away from your launch, I would of opened fire with my guns to get him to turn toward you again and into the line of your launched torps. If no luck with hitting him with the torps, and if he got too aggressive and charged you, then smoke up. Your torp reload is very fast in fujin, kamikazi etc. It's a more aggressive, risky style of play. Also, I hover barely outside detection at 5.5 to 5.7km out. I noticed you tend to launch from further out. I find closer has less chance to miss. I am not putting down your gameplay in any way, just saying I play mine more aggressively.

I generally don't encourage that type of behavior that early in the game without knowing more about how the battlefield is flowing.  Even at the lower tiers, a decently played cruiser can still make your day miserable and without a clearer picture of how ships were moving towards my position, it is generally smarter to remain relatively hidden even if it means missing the torpedoes.  Also, there was no guarantee that even with a hit that they would have killed him and with that Clemson there it would not have ended well.  In the late game you can be a bit more aggressive because all of the major threats would have been spotted or killed.  Aggression where it can be afforded but not a minute too soon! :)
