What time is potato time in ranked play? I'm talking the rank 6 level right now, because that is where I am.  I can't seem to get out of it to the next rank.  Been here 3 days and played dozens of games.

Its nice to play a nice close game in ranked.  I have lost a few close ones and won a few close ones.  You feel good about those games.  Yeah, you never like to lose, but if the other team just outplays you or someone makes just one mistake, the other team gets a point lead and a win.  I can accept that.  It is the games where your team just melts away within 5 or 6 minutes into the game that are bad.  I like to win but when I win in a lopsided game, I feel bad for the legitimate players on the other team if it happens to them.

So, back to the topic.  There seems to be times when players are generally well played and games are close.  Then there are times when games are just a blow out and its just the luck of the draw that you are on the right side of the win.  Are there known times when there are better players playing in ranked?

I have tried playing the the morning, and wow, what a difference in player quality. I'm on the East Coast, before 11am. I'm guessing all the potatoes and kids  are still in bed. I use to play at noon, and was pretty successful, but by, say 1330 or so, it started getting bad. Playing on the weekends and evenings, it was just near impossible to get a decent battle. You here "Battle Starts" and it was a like a pane of glass shattering, ships going everywhere and no one was willing to listen. Everyone was dashing for the cap points or off to hunt for the CV.  So no more prime time playing unless it's to practice on Co-Op or Seal Club at lower tiers.
