Noticed some other Anime ships in game and Harikaze would be a great addition to WOWs. It's a Kagero class Destroyer and carries Type 93 long lance torpedoes and decent gun armament which would not be too OP considering Haifuri does not have that much AA defense. And since I heard players complaining that regular Kagero got nerfed players might enjoy a replacement for it?

For point 2, we need only look at the Arpeggio of Blue Steel ships released under that collaboration. They were exactly the same as the regular ships except for a themed paintjob. Since Haifuri doesn't have much AA, it would probably be an A-hull Kagero that is given out, so a player complaining about that tech tree Kagero wouldn't really find the Haifuri one a worthwhile replacement. Think it would depend on which of the 3 gun sizes it gets in game version since throughout first season it gets its armament changed up 3 different times and of course if it gets the Type 93 Torpedoes would gladly overlook the hull lol. First main guns used were 12.7cm Second main guns were 10cm but faster rate of fire Then main guns got changed to 5 inch Edited March 3, 2017 by Admiral_Thrawn_1

It's basically a zero percent chance to be anything other than a normal Kagero. And this is coming from someone who would love to see it with the US 5" guns the ship gets in the final few episodes. The reason why has to do with the opt-in nature of the anime collaborations. You weren't around when the Arpeggio collaboration was announced, but there was a very vocal uproar from a segment of the community that didn't want anime "tainting" their historical warships game. Wargaming had to clarify multiple times that the content was optional and if you didn't want to see it, you wouldn't. That includes the way the ships look and behave in game, so any Arpeggio ship looks like its regular tech tree counterpart to someone who doesn't opt in to the content. An Arpeggio Kongo acts like a regular IJN Kongo, ARP Takao acts like Atago (including the heal) and so on. That means that Harekaze has to act like Kagero, else it'll get screwy when someone who didn't opt-in to the Haifuri content wonders why an otherwise normal-looking Kagero has unusual guns or torps. Yeah same thing happened in Blitz, but the players that have enjoyed Anime tanks far outweighed the the few people that hated idea and I am not surprised to hear same thing in WOWs. By the way any way to still get the ARP ships would not mind those in my port? Edited March 3, 2017 by Admiral_Thrawn_1

Harekaze would have the 5in guns that the midway has as secondary's. http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/116961-high-school-fleet-collaboration/

Unfortunately no, the collaboration ended and with it did any chance to earn the ships.

Actually, such a configuration might not be out of the question.
3,581 Admiral_Thrawn_1 Members 12,707 posts 14,320 battles Report post #10 Posted March 3, 2017 What level / ship types are usually needed for events that you win ships like Harekaze? I am making rapid progress, but if estimated time is May I will need to be certain to have appropriate ships prepared. I have a feeling I will love the Harekaze since I am really enjoying IJN Destroyer line and I like the Anime as well.

I read that more as answering for Yukikaze/Tan Yang since she actually was rearmed with US 5" guns, rather than speaking to introducing Harekaze out of the blue with strange armaments. 3,581 Admiral_Thrawn_1 Members 12,707 posts 14,320 battles Report post #15 Posted March 4, 2017 Wonder if Harekaze will get those nice Torpedo Launch pod turret like they had in the Anime? They look far more protected than the standard launch tubes most ships have on their decks which can result in have them not only damaged, but destroyed so armorng the Torpedo launchers would be nice idea to help prevent their destruction in battle. 534 [CUTE] Shigure_DD Supertester, In AlfaTesters 2,048 posts 11,695 battles Report post #16 Posted March 5, 2017 It would also be nice if they all had the modern radars like in the show. It's nice they thought out how the ships were layout the kags had room in them for a classroom I will see if I can find the layout for harwkaze
