Looks amazing had to instantly sell her what a huge shame :( gutted.

And why exactly did you have to sell her?

It was not a russian ship.

That doesn't mean you had to sell her. That means you chose to sell her. Why are you sad since that is what you wanted to do? Especially with a ship that had been pretty damn rare up until they just added the mission for her.

I think this is just a very poorly-executed Russian bias accusation thread.

I once got an Emden.

I still have her because I know to never sell premiums.

I once had an Emden. Sold her last year. Got three more from Santa. Wished I had your wisdom last year.

I cant think of a better reason TO sell a ship! Or to not buy one. I bought the Molotov from the premium shop and it's the only premium purchase that I've made that I regret. I'll never sell it. I keep it as a reminder that just 'cuz it's "Premium" doesn't mean it's good.

I missed out on that one so I hope there will be repeat Emden mission at some point. I like my KM and IJN ships :)

That was a good idea when I played WoT, until they switched from giving gold to credits for previously owned premiums.

Does WG have a different policy for WoWS? If not, what reason would I have for holding onto a free premium if I have no intentions of playing it? The credits and slot are worth more to me. Of course, anything I pay real money for is a keeper even if I don't like it, but freebies are fair game. I've sold the Diana, Aurora and Albany and don't regret it. I could also have those ships returned by submitting a ticket, so really, what incentive is there to holding on to them?

Just want to clarify the return-by-ticket thing is time-limited, irrc.

Also, if you win a ship from a supercontainer, it checks to see which ones you own in order to give you one you don't. (Unless you already own all the ships a supercontainer can give out, in which case the container awards you the game client value of the ship it was originally going to offer you in doubloons.) So that could be one reason to hold on to them: ups your chances for winning a free premium you don't already have.

Return-by-ticket is not time limited. You can put in a ticket to use an exemption to get said ship at any time. The limited part is that you only have 4 exemptions per year though. But you can get back multiple ships per exemption. So if you sold an Atlanta, Tirpitz and Scharnhorst then you can put in a ticket for all 3 ships in that one exemption. Just have to make sure you have the silver value for them to swap for the ships.
