Any idea if German Cruisers in game are these besides the Prinz Eugen? Also if you are flooding from a hit and your repair kit is on cooldown will running aground on beach or sandbar save you like in real life? I know in real life if you run aground just right you can keep sinking ship afloat at least for a little while until it gets knocked off by a storm or something. All other cruisers for Germany are either heavy/light cruisers that were built or paper design ships that Weren't. No that doesn't work, running aground does not stop floods or prevent damage from them (But floods do have like a min timer and then they stop so running aground isn't really needed)

The faster you move the more flossing damage you're going to take I believe.

Makes sense maybe, but would think it could possibly depend on where the hull breach is since a front hit would possibly benefit from slowing to a stop while I wonder if a rear or side hit would benefit from full speed ahead to keep water moving over surface of the hull breach fast enough to not let as much water in? Haven't heard about that but I do know flooding slows you down, but haven't heard anything about trying to slow down to mitigate damage

Graf Spee is a Cruiser, or to take her original designation, a Panzershiff (armored ship). A Battleship has armor, Graf Spee doesn't. But back on topic of all the different Prem Ships of the Kriegsmarine only the Graf Spee is the one you are looking for. Emden and Prinz Eugen are just normal Cruisers. Running aground with a ship IRL would deal severe damage to your ship. In 1942 the Deutschland, at that time already renamed as Lützow, had ground contact and took damage to her fuel bunkers making a two month repair necessary. Now imagine if you set your ship aground on purpose.

I don't know what you think pocket battleships (a British term) are suppose to be since the Prinze Eugen is a text book definition of a heavy crusier. The closest things in the game to the description of a "pocket battleship" would be either the Graf Spree from the Santa Convoy event back in December which is a cruiser with 11" guns, or the scharnhorst which is a battleship with 11" guns. Any idea if German Cruisers in game are these besides the Prinz Eugen? "Pocket Battleship" was a term coined by the British, due to the fact the Spee had bigger guns than a typical heavy cruiser, but less than a typical battleship. She was "designed" to be able to outrun most ships bigger than herself (exceptions, at the time of her launch, being the UK Battlecruisers), and outgun anything faster (UK CA and UK CL). As for the Scarn and Gneis, they were designed for the 38cm (15in) gun, but it wasn't ready in time, so they got the 28cm (11in) guns. This wasn't a significant issue because they too were designed to outrun anything bigger. And strategically (when employed as a commerce raider), to run from any major warship. The Gneis was actually in dock to be fit with the 38cm, but the fortunes of war made OBE. The beauty of WOWS is the developers have given us the Gneis with 38cm guns...as it was originally designed, and almost implemented.
