Start your day off the Scharnhorst way

Since ranked is winding down and getting harder to get matches in the morning, decided to get back into my routine of a Scharnhorst game to start the day.

 

Match ended for me (very low health), attacking a nearly full health Gneisenau and taking 36k of his HP before I died. Fool was sailing broadside and expecting to torp me. Instead he took 2 from me after I died.

 

This is my best damage to date in the Scharny too.

Some BB's have a spotter or fighter float plane launched from a catapult.

This morning was one of those games where you shoot and shoot and shoot and never seem to get the citadels even with perfect lineup of ship and shells.

 

I had a leander, I swear I fired at him over a dozen times for 760hp per volley.

 

At one point, I had less than 200hp too.

Run DE and both fire signals on Scharn and 50/50 AP with HE. Add in manual secondaries while mixing it up at close range it's a winner. Melting DDs that get too close, citadelling cruisers, torping BBs and burning them to the waterline. Yes it is a lovely ship. Turned the tide in at least 10 ranked battles doing that.

I thought we were going to lose this one. Our Ranger was experienced but their Hiryu was even better on paper.

 

As it was, we simply were able to deal more damage more quickly.

 

Love it when I kill a Tirpitz because he forgot he had torpedoes.

 

Also, respeced for BFT. So I have AR and BFT, when I get into a brawl where they're taking off my health, my secondaries become the whirlwind.

 

 

 

And I forgot to post yesterday... kinda meh.

Damage wasn't impressive in this but I pushed into the cap, killed a CL, killed a DD, solo capped.

 

Then I got shart on by the two enemy CVs. Saipan's 1 DB wing deleted me as I was healing, getting ready to battle some more ships.
