Question with Manual Drops for CV Aircraft.

Okay so I just watched a Video on how to play the CV of which covers pretty much all subject matter on the class. Issue though is that the video is a bit outdated, posted nearly 5 months ago, from the more recent CV changes. However I have one question and the video didn't really cover it. When I make a manual drop I can only adjust the course of the drops after I've already made the area selection correct? So the best way to get an accurate drop is to first move the planes into position of where I want them to strike such as fly then in front, side, rear, and then activate the manual drop?

Been playing CVs in Co-op to get use to all of the multitasking and just completed my 2nd battle with a CV, though this is the first time I used manual drops and still trying to figure this all out.

Pretty much yes.  Adjusting the circle generally takes a long time and it's much more efficient to micro the planes into the ideal position and immediately drop without adjusting.

Keep going!. At the end of a battle (in co-op), try manual dropping a specific point on an island, when it won't matter. From there go after BBs, then CAs, then DDs (all in co-op)

Repeat in Random without torping islands.

Keep in mind that manual drop is different at map border, you can try it out in training room.

You can make adjustments/corrections until the planes are inside the circle, and it turns yellow.

Co-op is a nice place, not only to learn, but also stay in practice.

I find CV play VERY stressful, yet rewarding.  After a decent random match, you should be ready for a break -- exhausted.

Take the time to learn the user interface.

You can control the planes using the 'M' map, assign targets, and keep an eye on the big picture from there.

Assigning targets this way is less hectic.  And if you get distracted or killed, they will carry out that mission.

Zoom in and take control when the planes are near enough to the target.
