I drive a Fiji in ranked, and I've been competitive with heal and torps versus Belfast's radar. I've been on a team with no radar ships vs a team with four Belfasts or a mix of 4 Belfasts and Atlantas several times and won as many of them as I've lost. Agree with this. Belfast isn't that dominant. in the right hands it is formidable - but that goes for any ship. They seem to skirt the battle in an effort to avoid attention from enemy battleships. I have been using Scharnhorst pretty regularly and haven't been seriously threatened by any cruisers that weren't BB supported. Haven't ever seen this, at least not in ranked. I thought MM balanced the ship makes - so each team would get one of each rather than all of a type being on a single team. 35 XCER Beta Testers 27 posts Report post #11 Posted February 24, 2017 the belfast is definitely a buffed noobie boat...it gets radar so it noobs can see stuff you cant....then if you make the mistake of finding a belfast in your BB and your unable to run .......they just park.....pop smoke......kill you in 4 salvos....that all happens before you are reloaded......all i have to say is that isnt balanced thats just bad luck and i suggest removing the smoke and increase reload to 45 seconds on the belfast.....if you disagree....too bad i didnt ask you what your noob brain thinks.....go start your own post. I've seen people disprove their credibility, but this takes the cake. The plus/minus tier allowance can put multiple tier ships, dd's and cruisers with smoke in the same battle. And if you're driving a mid tier ship (6-7) without radar and end up in the right match where MM puts the majority on the red team, you might as well take a seat on the sidelines. Though Not Unsinkable It can Carry a battle to Victory. The Belfast Strikes Fear in Most DD Drivers and BB's As well, With a high LVL Captain and a Skilled Player.
