Creating New Premium Ship?

I like to convert premium EXP from ships to my total EXP. But it will not convert non-premium EXP. How do I make a non-premium ship into a premium one please?

To convert XP off a tech tree ship you have to have everything fully researched. That includes all the hulls, FCS, Torpeodes, Guns, engines, and any ships that lead off from it, even ones of a different type, i.e. researching the carriers off of Tier 4 BBs.

That being said, you can't make a tech tree ship into a premium.

You kinda can with the Tier 10s if you buy the permanent camo since it gives you Credit/XP bonuses and a cheaper repair cost, although you still can't swap captains in and out.

I think everybody here is misunderstanding what the OP is suggesting. Although his choice of words are confusing, I think he means:

 

"I want to turn experience from premium and elite ships into free experience for tech-tree ships without having to pay doubloons."

 

And I kinda agree with him. I have hundreds of dollars invested into premiums. It'd be nice if I didn't have to pay hundreds more in doubloons just to use the experience on other ships. I probably have 1.5 million experience or more tied up in premiums, and I won't buy doubloons. I use the ships for retraining and credits.

 

$60 is an obnoxious price for an internet warship. I should have the ability to use the experience earned on a premium without having my wallet r4ped a second time.
