Would this affect my long range gunnery in a game like WoWs? I am not sure since it is a 2D display depicting a 3D scene. I have horrible long-range gunnery skills and I'm wondering if it's just me or does my poor depth perception play a part. If it does I need to stick to lower tier battles where my depth perception isn't as important. Thanks to anyone that could shed some light on this for me! Thanks! If it really does worry you, there is a mod that visually displays the angle a ship is coming towards you called the "Navigator Mod" Top icon is the angle of the enemy ship relative towards yours. If it's heavily angled towards you, aim closer. If it's slightly angled towards you, just aim at the waterline or slightly closer/lower than that. If full broadside... let it RIP. This is how it looks like in-game for me: Which can be found on Aslain's mod pack: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/2020-0611-aslains-wows-modpack-installer-wpicture-preview/& and yes, it's a legal mod (as Aslains deletes any banned mods) Edited February 18, 2017 by Flametz

I will download and install that mod pack as I do have a very difficult time telling the angle of ships.

I will download and install that mod pack as I do have a very difficult time telling the angle of ships. No problem, just refrain from installing too many mods as they will slow down the game and clutter the UI with too much info (the preview picture should give a good idea of what they look like). There's also a way to enable training rooms within the modpack. (which has free repairs/ammo refills) Set the bots to "active" (which makes them move around) but do not check the box to "armed" (which will make them fire back). Useful for practicing gunnery skills without worrying about getting shot at. Edited February 19, 2017 by Flametz

Your eyes are neither focusing differently or triangulating to perceive depth on a flat screen, even though the objects are being "3-dimensionally" rendered. If you're using some sort of fancy stereoscopic goggles and a source (not WoWs) that can generate true stereo visual information, that would be different. But flat screen = flat screen regardless of what's being depicted.

Thank you for your reply, I didn't think it was the cause of my poor gunnery skills, but I wanted to be sure before spending a lot of time on improving my gunnery skills. I'm guessing my poor short term memory due to brain damage is probably a big part of the problem like it is with all other aspects of the game. Thank you for your response!
