3,882 [WTFS] TheKrimzonDemon Members 9,336 posts 13,771 battles Report post #1 Posted February 18, 2017 (edited) In my battles hunting for Corgi's, I've a total now of 15 players just leave their ships there and go find another to hunt Corgi's with. 3 battles, 15 players just abandoned their teams. And that's the 15 who actually said it. There have been 5 more ships mysteriously AFK. 20 players total, in just 3 battles. That's almost a third of the player slots, poof. The side with the least "bailers to hunt corgi's" wins. The last time, I got sunk trying to explain A) Why this was happening, and B) Exactly what "this" was in the first place. Fortunately I'd done some damage first. Not enough, but some. I grant you, my experience won't be the average, I played 2 of my battles right after it started today, most will see this a lot less, but that it's happening at all should have been taken into account, I feel. "No Corgi's here, screw you guys." Not to mention that yet again, still no Corgi's. Knock that fleet number up to 1000, please. **Another thing I realized: A significant number of the Corgi Fleet is taking part in this live stream NA/EU thing. I thought the guy offering free cash was just trolling my team to get them to chase him so that his teammates could pick off the rest of us and win (which is exactly what happened). OnTheHouse isn't in it but he is a video poster. (Just an example) If they had 200 Corgi fleet members, maybe the event would run smoother. But that wasn't supposed to be needed. They doubled the number of people taking part to increase the chances. No, I want that W more than I want Corgi's. I wouldn't mind it, I AM playing T4 ships, or whatever tier it is, to try and find them, but the team and the win is more important to me. The problem is a massive number of my team mates, and red teamers, couldn't care less about the team or the win, and they literally left their teams shorthanded. I've played several Tier 4 and 5 games when these puppies are supposed to online and haven't seen one. And if I keep playing at T4 and T5 I'm gonna get reported for seal clubbing. I've already had a 100k damage game with High Caliber and Confederate in a Kuma. Today I got 99k in damage and a Confederate with my Marblehead. Most of the players in this game couldn't possibly care less about their team. I'm surprised any of them even said they were leaving! So it weren't a significant amount of members taking part. These events will continue to grow and many people were able to sink corgis. They were definitely out there and many battles were played. We will add more people as we go. There is a balance that has to be kept as well when it comes to members and players. Finding the sweet spot is tough. It was players abandoning their teams because there were no Corgi's to hunt. That royally screwed with everyone. I had 4 members of my own team do it in one battle.
