I know your pain, I've been an incredible spud the past couple days in ranked.  It's embarrassing.

Same here.  First couple of days I was doing fairly well then I took a turn for the worse.  Yesterday and this morning I was ok but at times really did not carry my weight.  Won 1 out of the last 11 so am calling it done for the day.  May need to be demoted back to COOP damn!

How are they being elitist? They are saying they need to go back to coop for the shame they bring upon themselves.

I have been trying for days to get past rank 16 but fall back to 15.

I played 3 matches the 2nd day of ranked. First was a loss because some nub in a bb went off on his own, second was a win, an third was a loss (20 points from top score on my team, so I just nearly lost that star). Again, from a nub in a bb going off on his own. It made me realize since I started playing ranked on season 2 how easily frustrating it is when things like that are completely out of your control. I don't plan on playing any more ranked this season lol. The rewards, while not all bad, just aren't worth the frustration of yo-yo ing back and forth because idiots.

I've found that running no more than 3 ranked games per day works out the best. Have had the 1 win in 12 over the weekend.

As far as skill goes, yes COOP is a demotion.  And no, it's not elitist, it's just a fact.

One game in Indianapolis; victory; one game in Mahan, loss; twenty games in various cuisers, carriers, and destroyers; some good performences, even in the CVs, but mostly loses. Twenty-two total games just to get from Rank 19 to Rank 17.

 

Three games in Mahan; three victories, ride straight from R17 to Rank 15.

 

Odds are that's it for me; all I care about is the season flag.  If I play any more it will likely just be with Mahan.
