Results like this make me glad that Montana's base secondary range is not 7km too.  Her guns are faster-firing, with higher fire chance, a much greater muzzle velocity, and better arcs of fire, being inferior only in alpha and number (by 2 barrels/side) to Yamato's 127s (let's just forget the 155s exist, they're useless against non-CAs).

 

Then there's secondary-build Midway which basically has a quartet of Fletchers with DE + flags strapped to her sides.
