What ships should I be getting APHE on?

   I have a T7 ship of every nation/type.

 

   I just read a post about how OP the L4 skill that makes HE +pen.

 

   what ships should I get that on?  Any idea?

Cruisers, especially cruisers with 150mm plus guns.

Anything with 155mm or smaller guns that fires alot of HE.   Works very well on 100-130mm guns as well and I would almost say it is a must have to the Akizuki.  

 

Also it isn't OP, it just makes HE damage more consistent rather than having to rely on the random nature of fires.   It also costs 4 points, point that you could use on CE, ATF, etc which also work wonders to improve the capability of your ships.

I tried it on my Kutuzov, and the results have been decent.  I also tested out a build on my Mogami with 155s.  Both ships performed well with it, and I would argue that the total number of fires set didn't change much.

Glass cannons. So anything that isnt a bb.

U can get the perk to improve fire chance. That evens fire output to pre update.

Sometimes its hard to start a fire on bbs. Those are the ones who went with all the perks to fight fires.
