Simple RPF question

The FAQ on RFP says that the indicators centers on "sectors" where the enemy DD is located. My question is simple: How big are these sectors?

 

It makes a big difference between locating a ship within a 5-meter box, and locating it "somewhere in C6".

C 6 would be the entire sector no matter how large nor small that sectors area is

The "sectors" refers to the 16 positions the RPF are able to display locations on your screen, doesn't have to do with the map sectors.

Relative to your ship. Each sector is 22.5 degrees.
