DIV abuse of chat bans

When will WG and the Devs fix the abuse of chat bans by players, primarily from divs?  Yet again I am chat banned because a Div doesn't like when someone disagree with the want of a lemming train at least for me that has been what I see the reason.  WG needs to rework this badly. When you get slapped right out of the starting gate because you disagree there is something wrong with the system and divs take full advantage of this system which is being abused.

I think the issue is that it works enough that people think it's a good idea. I've seen a lemming train go right down the middle channel in that one map (Brothers? I forget map names) and actually win... because the other team lemming trained up the East side. It's like they remember the few times it works and forget the mountain of times it didn't. 

 

To the OP's point, it's annoying but this isn't going to get you formally punished by WG. It'd be nice if they divided the impact of a report by the number of people in the reporter's division if they're in one, so if all three report it counts as one report, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I just laugh at them and move on. If they report you, take it as a compliment.

How do you have 7k posts and not know what a lemming train is...? It's an age old term from WoT. It's when your team forsakes every other part of the map all commits to one flank. A strategy that fails, more often than not.

This happens to me too. I think it's ludicrous that there is a mechanic by which players can take away other players' chat for 24 hours. It's ineffective on toxic people or dedicated trolls; they'll just go play soimething else and come back to do it more. But it can completely ruin the day of someone who just bought a day of premium andnow can't communicate while watching his win rate tank for the day.
