With the new skills here, thought it would be fun to see what everyone is looking on running.  Picking the 3 ships I've been playing the most recently.  (I'll probly respec alot trying things, but this is my starting point at least)

Edinburgh  14pt capt

1 - Preventive maint

2 - Smoke Screen Expert (Not sure if worth it, but more room with only 1-2 puffs to adjust direction in smoke will be welcome so ill try it out)

3 - Superintendent

4 - Concealment Expert

4- Advanced Fire Training

 

Akizuki 15pt capt  (Only using 14 pts as i dont like any other 1 pt skills)

1 - Preventive Maint

2 - Last Stand

3 - Superintendent

4 - Concealment Expert

4 - Advanced Fire Training

 

Kutuzov  16pt Capt  (Using 15 for now)

1 - Preventive Maint

2 -  Smoke Screen Expert (Once again same as above)

2 -  Expert Marksman

3 - Superintendent

3 - Demolition Expert

4 - Concealment Expert

 

 

Whats yours ?    Curious to how much RPF actually shows up.....

i have laid out a couple so far (all 19 pt as im at 16 on all of them and will be able to get to 19 realistically now on these ships)

Montana :T1: PE + EL, T2: EM, T3: BFT, T4: MFCSA + MFCAA + AFT

 

Akizuki : T1: PE T2: EM+ LS, T3: BFT+DE, T4: CE +IFHES

 

Ranger: T1: DGF, T2: ERG + HA, T3: TAE + BFT, T4: AS + MFCSA

 

Benson: T1: PT + PM, T2: LS, T4: BFT, T4: CE+ RPF + AFT

I used the following (so far) for my British Cruisers:

1. Priority Target -Depending how many ships are targeting mine will help me conserve smoke and maneuver.

2. Smoke Expert - Although I haven't had an issue with the bug I figure it will help prevent it. Also, people like to barge into my smoke and this can cause issues. This gives them room to share.

3. Superintendent - An obvious choice for additional charges of DRP and Smoke. To some extent Hydro (I'm only at tier 8).

4. Concealment Expert - Combined with the module this let's me get my fragile ship into better positions undetected.

 

Most likely I will add:

1. Jack of all trades - In order to boost my use of consumables.

2. BFT/AFT - Just to up the AA and have an extra utility as a back up for rough games. Also I find my secondaries end up shooting at Destroyers a lot.

Edinburgh  15-19pt capt ( He is past 15 but I am not sure how far past, I will use xp from my 18pt cap to get him to 19 if I have enough)

1 - Incoming Fire and Priority Target (Need to know when I am being shot at WASD ftw!)

2 - Expert Marksman ( I have to see If I even need this though, the guys turn pretty fast as is)

3 - SuperIntendant

4 - Manual FC 2ndaries and Advance fire training

Thats 15 points. Last 4 I will try out Radio Position Finding - or - Demo Expert+Preventative Maintenance - or - Basic Fire Training+Preventative Maintenance.


 

I tried Smokescreen expert on the test server, it was underwhellming.

Btw, there is also a build URL that you can share after you have set your skills. Just click on the build URL, it will load the save URL, then you can copy & paste the url from your browser address
