Sigh, and people wonder why some people hate CVs. It is the artillery of WoWS.

??? Arty in WoT is literally left click and pray for damage. Planes require a lot more player micro to be effective, and they have a lot more roles than just damage. They are responsible for spotting torps and ships, as well as denying the enemy CV.

Maybe, but you can't shoot down artillery shells in WoT.

Have you CVed? It takes a great amount of skill, instate-decision making, and micro-managing of the battle to be good.

I often feel overworked and lost, whereas Flamu is always calm, cool, and collected, juggling his 8 wings of planes.

I think if you watch carefully he tries to group them as often as he can so he is only dealing with 3 wings of planes not 8 which really reduces the amount of micro management you need to do. Also while he waits for his DBs and TBs to get into position or land and re-arm he watches for enemy CV planes he can attack with his fighters. It still takes heaps of full mini map awareness and awareness of the state of your groups of planes but he really does reduce the work load by grouping them the way he does. Like he says that way the damage is shared by the TB and DB when trying to strike so a few more get through but he can also count on the fact that either the TB or DB groups are either all armed and ready or all reloading. Ofcs where he shines is knowing when he needs to use all bombers and when he should hold a group back so he can get maximum damage.

That was actually something else I learned from him, especially on low tiers. Send in one wave to torp, wait for repair, send in second wave. If both flood, enemy ship is in serious trouble.

Same for TB/DB, but send in TB, flood, then send in DB and pray for a fire.
