With the BB exp events going on, people are playing the MM meta two steps ahead.

Players expecting lots of BBs -> DDs want to torp BBs -> cruisers farm the DD farmers

Tried to be

but ended up being an elephant.

Out played on a meta level last night. Cruisers and Carriers EVERYWHERE. Whoever thinks weekend is bad, they should experience week day try hard games. There are potatoes and there are potatoes that dies in droves before your torps even finished loading for the first salvo.

Say what you want about weekday players.

Very little can top my 12-game 0% win-rate Sunday night.

I think at high pop play times, mid tier match up is the most volatile. A tier 6 for example can be in a match with tier 8s, the drastic difference in ship base performance along makes the matches horrible. On top of the already mismatched ship performance you have player skill differences.

Mid tier, on the other hand, also offers glorious 30 game winning streaks.

At the end it's up to the player to "carry". Some ships carry the match easier, CV sea clubbers for example.

All day Sunday I was in tiers 8-10, but nice attempt at an excuse.

Also tier 6 is mid tier. High tier is 8-10 (anything that can encounter T10).

The MM in this game is to be desired. Ideally, ships of equal base stats should be matches with each other. But the player population is not enough. If we can have 100k, instead of 10k, concurrent players. Then the volatility can be greatly reduced.

BBs overall, from the look of the stats, have a more easier time "carrying". High tier matches are not enjoyable, from the cost to sail perspective alone.

The mid tier volatility is enjoyable, because no t10 CVs, that alone makes mid tier slightly less cancer infested.
