The longest OP of them all (guess who)

Going to chill out from WOWS for a bit. 38 battles in 2 days, or about 10 hours over 2 days (maybe longer) of making the most of my 24-hour premium courtesy of the monthly mission that took 5 sets of base XP. 50% W/R combined from divisioning with other Foggies or forumites (saw a few here, pmgaudio was ticked off about the potato teams he's gotten in his Moskva).

 

Anyway, few memorable moments:

1) Two Brothers, I'm held together by duct tape in my Graf Spee. My team narrowly manages to pull ahead in this Standard Battle in points, then I bark we need to stay in our cap, make sure the enemy CA and DD left have no choice but walk into an ambush, but a Myoko decides to be a [filtered] and throw the match by charging down middle. No matter how much we yelled at him not to, he ignored us. Example of the kind of idiot that should stick to pve instead, it's aggravating when one player intentionally throws a pvp match.

 

2) ARP Takao, Islands of Fire, I outplayed a Blys that arrogantly stuck to invisifiring and single-handedly prevented him having chance to stop us winning. He ends up smoking near B, I use Hydro and only 1 torp hits, flush him out, and kill him. Had to repair an earlier fire, so I flooded to death for a Flesh Wound, but fair trade as our remaining cruiser and BB farther N were able to cap enemy base without any harassment.

 

3) T7-9 uptier in ATL (forget map name), enemy Fletcher runs right into me and I blow off most of his HP and he becomes a teammate's FB. Poor guy was salty and wished 5 citadels from a BB on me, but I survived to hit (if remember right) 4th place on team and do more damage to a couple more BBs.

 

4) Yelled at another player for doing badly in his DD and told him to go back to T4 and L2DD or whatever, then laughed at seeing I got reported twice. PvP does tend to rouse my competitive side and it's annoying to see slackers doing T4 tactics at T7 where it generally results in dying fast.

DS is from a DD running into one of my torps, and I caught a beached Bismarck behind it with other 2 torps. I was flabbergasted at the damage rolling in.

There is. PM if want the password--understand it's limited to Fog clanmates, so not saying it publicly.

About 80-90% of the time, the shorter CD and extra charge make no difference in my matches.

 

Seem to be doing reasonably well without them. I consider anyone running premium consumables to be admitting they need the shorter CD carry.

The only one I run on a regular basis is premium DCP, because being on fire is irksome and flooding is scary. Even then I forget/don't bother on some ships.

 

I think I've got premium of everything running on my Gaede, but that's mainly because I've tricked Gaede out with pretty much everything just for kicks. It's even got 8/8 signal flags running on it.

 

Also, y'know, having dozens of premium everything lying around from campaigns and events and containers and all.

It's k, I have it worse off than you . Spilt water over my laptop last August so I've been having to save up for a new computer to get in February. And I know how bad exams are because I get two finals, one in May and one in Nov .

Fire is rarely a problem unless it's an IJN or VMF cruiser having at me, or a BB that only fires HE.
