Question on permanent camo

If I sell a ship with permanent camo, an re-buy it down the line, does the camo come back or do I lose it?

 

I am done with my Hatsuharu and not sure I will ever want to sail it again, but an informed decision is best

I've seen this question before and the answer given is the Premium camo stays in your back inventory. So if you sell that T6 ship with its premium camo and at a letter point buy that ship back its premium camo should still be there waiting to be used. 

I can test this tomorrow if there is any doubt. I sold the Farragut I got from the Santa Convoy raid so I could buy it back to see if the premium camo is still available for use.

yes if you sell the ship and re buy it later the prem camo is still there.

It seems to me, Suzukaze, that perma camo is a wasted expense unless one keeps the ship indefinitely. Also, I find one gets camo rewards enough to keep all ones ships in 'free camo', basically.

If one has too many ships with perma camo then all the free camo is just a waste. Even the other container rewards start to pile up. The freebie I could use more of are the signal flag container rewards.

As to perma camo - perhaps I will equip it on my keepers, however, I like to spend my Doubloons on grinding expenses (& just use the free camo I get).

Perma camo x tier 10 = ~$25 tier 8 premium moneymaker & XP machine.

 

Whomever dreamed up the tier 10 permanent camo needs a cookie. Expensive? Yes. Turn your favourite tier 10 into a credit & XP machine on par with tier 8 premiums for less money? Huge yes.

Yes, once u bought it, u have it perminatly even when u sell the ship then buy her again, its still there.
