So what are your guys opinions of the ship? Do you think it's overpowered? Underpowered? What's your best game in it or favorite experience in it? I've had a few good games in it thus far and have only had it for a few days. I just had this game not too long ago.

The Kooter is a fantastic ship.  After the captain skill rework, the Kooter will easily supplant the Atago as the best tier 8 cruiser.

I've said it before, but Kutuzov is fantastic. 

 

She and Atago are also what the T8 cruisers should be.

The only 2 ships I like being up tiered are the Kutuzov and the Atago. You will make lots of credits farming those high tiers.  I would say it is OP if it is in the right hands.

HE spammer with insane range, smoke, good torps, and excellent agility. Definitely OP and anyone that tells you otherwise is high, doesn't know better or has one and doesn't want anyone to call for a nerf.

 

Oh, and I hear it's AP is great for those times when you actually get close and can use it. The shells arcs are also like rail guns at ranges almost out to 10km.

In tier 8 and maybe 9 battles, I prefer Atago. In most tier 9\10 battles, I prefer Kutz. The passive play in the highest tiers make great use of it's 19km range and smoke. The HE is effective against any ship two tiers above you.

 

So because I personally feel like I almost never get top tier in a tier 8, the Kutz has become my favorite tier 8. I don't quite prefer the playstyle, but I don't get too stressed when MM isn't giving me a break.

 

I only get to play late at night with lower server populations, so I have to accept my crap MM chances.

Its a fun fradgile ship, OP no,guns are mwaaa, it will shoot 19 k but if your lucky enough to hit something at that range all you've done is given away your position, the guns are fast loading with good turret rotation and good rudder shift , smoke is negated by other ships with radar and you can expect torps headed your if used, the AA is deadly and when stood to pretty much every plane in range gets shot down, definetly not a brawler and with high tier BBs these days one needs to play it accordingly, would recommend its a fun boat but sadly OP no

I agree it shines in the t10 matches. Nothing better than seeing a t10 bb stationary. Hello HE spam for days and 4x fire. The camping meta at top tier really does compliment the ship nicely. Can't run from fire if you're sitting still haha.

It will thankfully never be nerfed. Hell it was buffed when AFT was nerfed. IMHO all cruisers should be buffed to play like the kutuzov.
