Other ship lines as Agile and Maneuverable as the Sims?

Hello everyone!

I am currently wondering if there are other Destroyers much more nimble than the Sims. I'm really more into their Turning circle and their rudder shifts. I really love fast ships that drives like a charm.

I am working up towards the Gearing, though I wouldn't mind getting started with other lines that are fun to sail in.

Benson is your ship. The USN DDs are the best shakers in the game.

Sims is possibly the best turner in the game, so you can't really go up from there.

No. Sims is the most agile ship that also retains good top end speed.

Benson has a slower rudder

Fletcher is somewhat slow

Minekaze has a larger turning circle, but comparable rudder speed and top speed

The other DDs don't even come close.

Sims is the original speedboat of WoWs. She was once the fastest DD in the game after Shimakaze until the Russian DD's arrived.

with double rudder on udaloi, you can make it pretty agile.  2.8sec double rudder and 610 turning circle that flies at 42knot    vs 2.7sec at 500m  and 40.4 knot       benson has 570m  turning circle and unless you go c hull, your rudder is 3.2sec. vs 2.1sec at  40not.     fletcher is 560  and 3 sec.     (both benson and fletcher can have it quicker if you lose conceal mod)

Most DD's are agile, Sims is just a prima ballerina.

The only ship ingame that has comparably agility is a low tier ship, the German T2 destroyer V-25.

Benson, C Hull, with rudder shift mod.

This.  Benson C Hull's turn circle isn't quite as good as the Sims', but the rudder shift is identical and it plays pretty similarly.   I'm currently using the Sims - Benson combo to work up a 19 point captain (16 down, 3 to go!!), and this works particularly well because I don't have to change my "game head" much between the two ships.   IMHO, the biggest buff the Benson gets compared to the Sims is access to the T8 upgrade slot, and therefore the ability to get Concealment <6km.
