With the arrival of Update 0.6.0, we're sprucing up the tech tree with some highly-demanded ships like ArizonaBelfast, and Scharnhorst! Get your Doubloons ready, or pick them up in the Premium Shop!

Meanwhile, Atlanta will be sailing off into the sunset. Grab her while you can!

Departing with Style

Get 'em in the game or in the Premium Shop before they're gone for good!

Atlanta
9,000 Doubloons
$41.16

The way its worded and says to get them in the shop or in the game before its gone for good seems to imply Atlanta will not be sold again.

Am I reading too much into this?

They said similarly  (if not more) about the Gremy. We know how that ended up. Atlanta I'm sure will be the same.

Fifty new ships are planned for 2017, but if they feel peeps are interested and willing to pay im sure it'll come back.

I got my Atlanta from Santa, but I highly doubt I'll ever take her out of port.

I recently watched a YouTube vid with a division 1 flint, and 2 Atlantas. It was freaking awesome!

It's just being removed from the tech tree / online store.  It's not being permanently removed -- the language and the announcements from Wargaming would be much more specific.  These two will become limited release ships.  The Atlanta has been continuously on sale since mid July 2015.  The Marblehead has been continuously on sale since May 25th of 2016.

Adding to your statement - it's essentially what happened to Murmansk, for example. Murmansk has returned for limited periods since its removal, and like Murmansk, Atlanta will likely return for limited periods of time in the future.

Good riddance.

Ah - but we get the Belfast to replace it. And the Belfast has smoke.

I like how the Belfast picture in the thread just shows another Arizona by mistake! XD

As for the Atlanta, she will be missed (But I'm sure they'll still sell her on the premium shop from time to time). :honoring:

More than likely a little too hard on his stern. Possibly had a little more penetrating shots than expected?

Person I replied to say "good riddance" to an Atlanta, not a DD.

oh, you assume I hate it when captaining something else?

I hate it because it's orbital arcs, enormous detection range, glass armor and poor agility.

The Atlanta is no Gremyaschy.

You got that right. I have a 54% win rate in my Atlanta. In my new Christmas Gremy I have a 79% win rate.
