This is, to put it bluntly, 100% over-the-top.

I don't....repeat, DON'T....play PvE to earn a profit of the same proportion as that for PvP....and neither do I expect WG to cater to that.

 

But I DO...repeat DO...expect to at least break even on a battle where, a) I have been in the top 3 of the group , have b) sunk one ship and damaged others and c) have played aggressively and in support of the others (all humans...no bots in our group).

 

Yet at the end of the battle I am up for 45,000 credits for service and even with the allowance that WG have provided for PvE, I have a nett loss of ~40,000.

 

You really need to take a look at the way your accounting staff are charging for servicing. It is way excessive.

I think PVE should not have disastrous financial consequences at tier 8 and higher if you get deleted in the first few minutes.  I get what WG is doing, but sometimes PVE is my only refuge from horrific teams full of potatoes.

It would be nice if PvE was played by the same rules and rewards as PvP.

Many PvP players complain about other players not being "competitive" enough, players who play for fun as opposed to players who play for rank or win% or whatever, and some of these "for fun" players find their refuge in PvE, where you at least don't have to listen to any grief from the opposing team. The current PvE set-up punishes these players by making PvE more expensive to play, when there is no reason for it.

Allow the players who CHOOSE to play against the bots the same rewards as those who CHOOSE to battle each other.

That makes it fair for all, as anyone can then choose where he wishes to battle, and face the same rewards and penalties, while giving everyone the battles they want.

What tier is this happening at? I play up to tier 8 and only really lose money when I go full potato and get killed without inflicting much damage. I have no problem with that honestly, its punishment for sucking IMHO. With the rebates I always earn something, not lots, but something if I have an "average" game.

What tier are you doing co op at?  

 

At tier 6 I expect to pay  30K for maintenance and ammo.

 

Try removing those full price consumables.

Jervis...how exactly are you losing money at the tiers you say 5-7?  Are you running any camo or flags, signals?  When I play the same tiers and finish as you say, top three, I always make money, its when I get to tier 8-9 that it starts to get difficult to make any money.  I was expecting you to say it was tiers 8-9, not 5-7.  Something is amiss if you are losing money at those tiers.

You don't really start losing money in co-op until tier 7/tier 8 (for regular tech tree ships that is, premiums will nearly always make a profit even if you do horribly). As long as you don't take too much damage you should even be able to make a healthy profit at Tier 7 provided you deal at least your ship's HP worth of damage.

 

I doubt WG will ever return to the CBT level of XP and credit income in co-op but I think it could be boosted slightly, maybe by 50% or 100%. I am guessing that currently we get about 1/3 of what one would get in Randoms, in CBT I think we got 2/3 of what Randoms would earn. I think half would be a good compromise.

This actually goes with the one thing I've asked for constantly for coop play.  If credit earning is half of what you make in random, then so too should the expenses be at half of what random is.  Technically the player in coop isn't 'earning' any more.

I do find it funny how many threads there are about potato players, yet the PvP elite criticize a place where these potato players could go and not bug them.

I accidentally queued for co-op one night in my Bismarck. I was less than pleased so i went full yolo into the bots to get out of the game as quickly as possible. 130k damage and 4 kills later we've won the game and i LOST credits... how do you people play Co-Op with an economy like that?

Yeah no, if this was even implimented I'd be gone immediately. I prefer co-op because it's relaxing, the fact I can get a small profit (sub tier 8) is a nice bonus. Actions and suggestions like this are pretty much the same thing as wargaming telling all co-op players to quit.

I'm of the opinion Wowzery, there should be a scaling difficulty put into PvE.  Right now PvE is on easy mode.  But to get the higher rewards, you have medium then hard modes where you can earn more, but you're going to have to work that much harder to get it.

With respect to you talon I see where the fools who want more FAIR repair costs are coming from, sure co-op is easier (but you Elitists don't need to put down those that play it) but that doesn't mean repair costs should be a 1:1. it shouldn't be half either, just slice off 10% of the repair cost for co-op, you'll STILL lose money if you're an idiot but you'll be more likely to atleast break even at tier 7 and under.
