Finally my first solo warrior

 

Me against 7 people and their div have some very good players

 

But really solo warrior? without Rudeus in his Atago there would be no win for us.

I got mine under 1000 battles in a Kongo.. all things considered as I remember it the enemy team made it easy . Its a really tough medal to get... Congrats !

I nearly got a second, on a Tirpitz too. Low HP, couldn't afford to bear torp tubes, so went in for a ram instead, and as everyone died, it was a draw instead. Good times.

 

But yeh, GJ on the achievement man!

I got mine a week ago by running away from 5 enemies in my Fiji. 

 

You can say whatever you want about British CLs, but if I need a ship that can dodge enemy fire, I'm going with a brit CL every time. They're nimble little minxes.

I wanna get mine by actually brawling against the last four survivors. In the Tirpitz game I mentioned, we were losing in points because all my team died and they had the cap advantage. Luckily, one of the 4 ships died to friendly torps, so I only really eve faced 3 ships.

I thought it was a lost game regardless, so that's why i went against a cruiser, a DD, and BB. Sorta YOLO if you will. I took out the DD with some AP pens, dodged the cruisers torps and hit him with mine, and went bow in against the last BB. Went for ram in the end, so we all died and it was a draw in the end lol

 

So yes, most Solo Warriors are gotten by running away from the enemy with point advantage, usually on Domination. Ships with high stealth, such as DD's are the easiest to accomplish that with. As such, the first time I got mine was on a Hatsuharu.

Wow, that other team.  To be 7 vs 1...and not be able to get enough points to win?  Or, they couldn't leave SOMEONE back to protect the cap?  Pretty poor team work.

They had one BB going back and i shot a little to much at him so he spotted me his shells landed just meters infront of me and after that he turned around, he didn't charge the cap. So i was very lucky

VERY impressive...to be 7 vs. 1, and it was not like the other team was lacking in DDs, so (one would assume) you couldn't just out-stealth and out-run everyone.  Congrats.  That whooshing sound you hear is your enemies rage-uninstalling.

 

In one of my SWs, I was also not first on the team in xp (second, like you), and likewise, the person who was (in a Colorado) just melted face.  Specifically, he left an enemy Takao on 1600 hp for me to one shot in my brief, victory-securing maelstrom of violence.  (It isn't kill stealing if you are the last person alive!)  He deserved a Santa's gift, but it was before Santa's gifts, so all he got was a compliment.

 

Yes, luck >> skill in this sort of endeavor.

Nice.  I'm at about 1,300 battles I think, and I've only come remotely close twice.  It will be a long long time, if ever before I pick that one up.
