39,253 [HINON] Lert Alpha Tester 27,712 posts 26,569 battles Report post #3 Posted January 11, 2017 In a nut shell: - More RN ships - Two branches of French ships - They already have 50 ships planned for 2017 - "Some branches will change" - The Soviet destroyer branch will change "to remove some illogical things", there will be two branches, 'destroyer leaders' and 'typical artillery destroyers', destroyer leaders are more survivable but more visible - They want to add 'legendary commanders', like Steven Seagal but possibly earned differently and with different features - New upgrades that you won't be able to buy but can earn - There will be new types of armament. "I won't say what exactly right away, let it be a surprise" - They want to develop PvE / COOP gameplay more, based in part on the success of the Halloween escort mission - There will be PvE missions for groups up to 7 people - These groups will be picked at random from the queueueue, or you can join a group of 2 up to 7 people yourself - They want to bring more clan functionality and clan-v-clan battles - They want to introduce bonuses just for joining a clan, "You'll be able to receive bonuses just for joining other players and playing in random battles" - There will be improvements to the sound system - Including dynamic music based on the events in the battle - Possibly user defined sounds (like laser sounds for gun fire) - New visual effects like muzzle flashes, wakes and explosions - New sea-surface lighting effects, dynamic lighting - General improvements to existing graphical assets - Depot is coming - Official in-game training room support 8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I wish they showed off alittle more PVE, I hope it's not stuck at just one low tier, Cause that will get boring over time. If they're adding dynamic lighting, that means they're removing the major barrier from having night battles. Could be some very interesting stuff coming late this year or next year...
