Questions about repair, new patch, and Convoy missions

When you are using a ship that has a repair party for instance the Graf Spee which has a repair party 1 active for 28 seconds, repairing 197 HP per second. Therefore that's a maximum of 5516 damage. Let's say that your ship has suffered damage and about 3000 is repairable. You trigger the repair party so on it's own it should repair the 3000 damage. Let's then say you are set on fire or take additional damage that can also be repairable. Do you repair only the amount your ship could repair the moment you trigger it or does it repair up to the maximum potential if you continue to take damage?

 

When about do you think the new patch with the reworked captain skills will be released?

 

What day and time exactly will the convoy missions end?

- It repairs up to the maximum potential for as long as the consumable is active. Any additional damage taken will count towards potential repairs.

 

- Most likely next Wednesday.

 

- Not 100% on this, but I would aim to complete by late night on Jan 17th given prior experience.

Yup, in BBs, I usually hit it as soon as the second fire gets lit, or the first one is halfway done.

Yes. By default, 50 seconds per fire. This can be reduced by mounting signal flags and premium consumables, however

I'd like to add that fire and flooding does damage per second that is a certain fixed fraction of your maximum HP. Therefore destroyers take the least fire damage and can almost afford to ignore it while battleships and cruisers tend to hurt more. Nonetheless, as a BB you should almost never repair a single fire for fear of multiple fires or flooding right after.
