I unlocked the Missouri the other night (Thanks WG!) and I have taken her into a few battles and while she performed good something felt off about her.  Then in my last match with her I can't dodge a torp to save my soul.  Back in port I look and see that I completely forgot to pick any upgrades for her.  Not a single one.  So I loaded her up and now she feels  a bit more normal.

I've done that in first game in Bismarck. Went out, got a lot of damage and a Kraken, but something felt really odd, I also couldn't turn for the life of me. Of course, no module upgrades installed.

I also just got my Mighty Mo last night and so far am having limited success as can be clearly seen in my stats below. I've noticed way too many overpens compared to my Bismarck. And of course getting used to actually having a citadel will take a bit of time :teethhappy:

The Iowa/missouri have taken me some time to get used to.  They are so fragile on the side and you really get punished for mistakes.  I feel like I don't have to play my NC with as much concern as I do my Iowa/Missouri.

I just did something similar.  I played my first game with an Indianapolis and as I was loading into the match I realized that I had not set any consumables.  Of course, the match had a DD on the red team who liked to sit in smoke and spam HE and I could have easily countered it with radar - had I loaded it.  He sank me and I learned a lesson.

From all I've read the Mo is a whole different play style than a German bb... If you got the coins, I'd go into coop for a dozen matches, get the hang of her fully equipped... it really does help with moving her into randoms...

Think of them as sea trials.

we have all been noobs at some point, mainly when we first started the game, but some people claim that they were masters when they started, those are the people that lie to themselves because they cant handle the truth, it takes a true gamer to admit that they were a noob, an even greater gamer to admit it on the forums, so you sir, have my undying respect, we need more like you, people that will admit they did something wrong and dont care about people calling them "noob"

Everyone has noob moments no matter how good you are. Mistakes are made by all levels, the difference is better players make fewer mistakes.
