Detonations

When I get detonated, the sound really hurts my ears in a big way!  What is the setting that I use that will lower it and not any other vital sounds?

 

I bet you thought I was going to rant on why detonations should be removed, didn't you.  Shame on you!

sadly, if you lower the sound of detonations, you lower the sound of your main guns, and a lot of other SFX.

Lol, how are your ears still intact after the old citadel sound if dets bother you that much.

huh?.... what was that? I cant hear you!? one too many explosions...

lol yea i think the only way to fix that is lower your main SFX settings

Never been detonated by a human player, but the AI does it to me with alarming regularity. That aim, boi, that AI aim. A related note, I det'd an AI Prinz Eugen with an HE round earlier, and saved a team mate, totally by accident. Dude was thrilled. xD

Two BBs detonated in a match I was in today. Both by DDs. Was engaging.
