Leander Torps not registering

Hello WoWS community. I am seeking advice on a very strange phenomenon. I haven't had the leander very long but in 3 games with it today on 5 separate occaisons I have witnessed my torpedo's impact the enemy ship, make the impact and underwater explosion sound, yet fail to register or do any damage. I wasn't sure if I am experiencing some crazy anomaly or would something else cause this like torp's hitting a belt or something equivalent, akin to a ricochet? My latency hovers around the 35ms range with spikes in the mid 40's. In one game I shot a NC watched 5 torp's impact, heard 5 separate explosion sounds and got credit for 2 torpedo hits for roughly 13k damage. Then immediately following that I hit a Fuso with 3 torps, saw/heard 3 impacts got 0 torp hits registered on screen and 0 damage. Another game, same thing on a warspite, 4 torpedo impacts, 0 hits registered and 0 damage.

That's very weird indeed.

1. Probably due to damage saturation mechanics 

2. Critical game error 

3. Kinda dumb...but are you sure your enemy is still alive when your torp hits?

Part of me says that this is due to damage saturation where you just don't take damage anymore in that section.  Its how a Fletcher can take 7 torpedoes and still live, but you aren't getting ribbons so it probably isn't this.  The other part of me says that you are hitting dead ships.  The Leander has 2 launchers with 1 on each side meaning that at some point there was a delay between each torp spread or launch.  So it makes sense that after your first two torpedoes hit and do their damage, there is a short period of time before the other 3 hit and in that time someone kills the NC.  Then because ships don't stop dead in the water, they keep moving a tiny bit, the other 3 torps hit the dead NC.  Some ship sinking animations don't really show the ship blowing up but rather they stay upright and look pretty alive for what feels like a solid 20 seconds until they eventually dip down and actually start sinking.

 

I mean this really could be a game breaking bug so if you have a replay just upload it and link it.  I think replays are automatically saved now(?).  So if you can find it upload it.  

 

You said you had basically no ping which is good and generally rules out lag.  However occasionally when even when I am a the 30-35 ping mark, shells will pass through the rear of enemy ships giving the shell hit noise, but no damage or ribbons.  This is very rare now for me and I'm pretty sure that was just caused through extremely short lag spikes that happened when I shot.  I'm 99% sure this isn't your issue, but it is good to look at all of the potential issues.
