MM is very cruel.... My worst was 13 losses in a row and most of them were wipe outs.  and this was during the week when it should not be so potato.

I had an 8 match losing streak the other night. I got unlucky on the potato content of my teams or I sucked a bit or both.

 

This is the game we play. Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the windshield.

I lost around eight in a row with the North Carolina. Tried with a few dds and lost them also. Changed to my Molotov and won around eight in a row.

It has beena crazy ride this week.  Fun non the less (??).  Sometimes the MM loves you.....sometimes it's laughing it's algorithms off. 

 

You do know the match is not going to end well, when the entire side you've spawed with (Strait, Domination mode) abandons A and charges up to C and wonders why we all died.   :-(

everytime i reach 55% WR i enter brutal losing streaks because MM puts you with really bad people, even afk players. one time i search for the profile of one of my failed allies... 40% WR and he died in the first 3 minutes.  to survive this MM punishment, try to use your best ship, in my case is tier VI Aoba.

pd: another thing that happens to me a lot when i reach 55% WR, is being always at lower tier, always.. if im tier VI, then its a battle full of tier VIII, its a nightmare

I just got back into playing the game and man - I've had some real crap teams. Like 5 ships destroyed on my team in the first 2 minutes. Yet I can stay alive for 5 minutes with half the enemy fleet shooting at me...What gives?

(1) How come that didn't happen to me? Or any other player with WR above 55%?

(2) WG denies the fact that MM takes into account win rates, or any other skill metrics.

(3) There is no proof that MM takes into account win rates, or any other skill metrics.

 

Maybe instead of blaming MM you should take a look at your average damage per battle numbers, and figure out why they're so low.

Feel your pain OP. Mine was more just on my Nicholas last night trying to get it finished and 6-7 matches in a row was the only tier 5 in the match with 6 and 7s.

Div up and have ships that support each other in your division. When the potatoes are out in force, try to even out the odds by having some good players in your divisions. Guaranteeing that 2 out of 11 team-mates are decent can go a long way in a random MM in helping you bring out your full potential. When 10 out of 11 team mates are potato, you cant even carry if the other team has even 3 players that are decent.
