Just came back to the game a few weeks ago.  Just now getting active in the forums and beginning to realize there is more to the game then mindlessly blasting away at other ships and not caring much for the placement of rounds or strategy.  I am 41, old school gamer I guess you could say.  Looking for drama free like minded ship mates to Division with. Normally play evening Sunday through Thursday and and basically all night Friday and Saturday.  Feel free to add me if you like.

Or this game is full of Elitists which is even worse.  Yes my win percentage is bad at the moment, does not reflect my game play I assure you. ​I'm looking for a few good men to get a division started, also, but I am treading lightly right now. Not really super hard looking, though, because I see the "in game divisions"  that are created.....no one listens to each other. The one thing I have learned playing WOW is this "team" game is anything but. Every great once in awhile, I see an in game team coalesce so well, that the battle is over in a matter of minutes. The majority of the time....it's every man for himself once the whistle blows. But anyways....that all aside....my name is James_PNut_B....add me if you want. I am 49yo, a former Marine, I have been a member since 06 Dec 16...& I love WOW. I play hard, I hate "bench sitters" ( or otherwise known as sitting there waiting on everyone else to win the battle for them...except for those who have to go AFK while in game....I'm talking those who float around & never fire a single shot), I play to win, & can be a leader...but CAN ALSO step aside & TAKE orders just as well as giving them. Hit me up dude.

Hi xxXDragonWolfXxx here. I'm looking for a good guild to join. I'm 45 and are a gamer Mondays to Friday from 17:30 hours to 22;00 hours, that's if i work, week ends i'm stuck 24/7 i'f my wife don't drag me to do shopping lol. I'm  at lvl 10 and trying to do the quest as i go, and learning the game. I did a lot battles and have the OMAHA ship.  i played pirate storm till Big point went and messed it up completely, and i was looking for a new game and found this game, man i love it. I hope you will let me in your guild. Do you guys yous team speak, or is there a system to use for communicating with players.

Hey fellas..

 

 

The weather guy in Atlanta just called for snow Friday Night into Saturday. This for our Northern friends, means that the folks down here are going to lose their minds and raid the grocery stores for milk, bread and eggs. My guess is, that it is customary to make French Toast.

 

Anyway, since we don't have snow removal equipment or intelligent Transportation Folks (Sgtmajbuzz ) I'll be staying at home on Saturday and should be available for some division games.

Just a noob here, although at tier 9 or just hit 10? Just a boat load to know in this game. Long time RTCW player,only a few online anymore but still fun. Don't know how to join a division, don't know how to get together with you like minded players, but want to. Get tired of the mad dash at whistle games, and no team work on a game that is all about teams.I just found out that there are many different WOWs forums, will bookmark this and keep coming here only. Hope to see you all out there.

Still learning, mostly laid back but I get excitable when things get into torp range.  I run mostly T4-T6 destroyers and cruisers, not that i'm any good at them I just enjoy them. I also started the USN BB line for some reason. Up to New Mexico, but I'm even worse at conning a BB than anything else.  Pacific Time after 8pm  & weekends.

Have not checked it in awhile.  Ill add you gents in game.  Been playing a lot lately grinding the Christmas missions.  Just finished getting the last free tier 6 boat.   Appreciate all the replies.

All you new guys looking to add to your Warships skill, I highly recommend checking out some YouTube videos posted up by PhlyDaily and iChaseGaming.  Those two play every ship and post videos on tactics and play styles that have helped me considerably.

n5bar here. Mature player, way more than the ages I have seen in this thread so far. My father was a plank owner and a combat veteran on a Fletcher class in the pacific war. Been interested in naval history since I was 7 years old. I knew then what a BB, CA, CL, CV and DD was (or is). Would like to find a list of abbreviations that are specific to this game. Like AFT, that took me about 20 minutes searching the forum before I found an explanation. LS which means Last Stand but Still don't know what the heck that really is! Sounds like Custer instead of naval warfare. Also need to decide which ship to get next. Almost done with the Phoenix. Is there a limit to how many ships you can have, assuming of course that you buy more slots?

There is just to much to figure out with this game at all levels (tiers), You can't do it alone so i'm about to jump on with a group soon. I'm at tier 12/ 13? but can only play IV or V ships, guess you have to pay up some $ or shut up and grind on. Oh talk about grind on man what a grind to get past V. can't seem to get past 50% on any ship?. Just a bit a whinin here no one else would get it.
