I was very lucky to receive a lot of dragon flags, and some restless fire camo in some christmas containers.

Together with the 200% captain bonus this weekend I thought I'd grind my Perth captain to 15 points for CE, because I figure a decent concealment might give this horrible ship at least one advantage.

Does MM know when you are running a dragon flag, and it puts you on a team who's potatoes have a combined 12 wins between them? I cannot buy a [edited] win. I must have lost 20 out of 23 matches in the Perth in the last 3 days, and before you tell me it's because I'm bad in it - I am regularly the last one alive, after my WHOLE TEAM gets wiped out in 10 minutes. What the actual F? And that's while MM has been forgiving. Occasionally I get put in a t8 match FFS.

Do people with Unicum status just not play on holidays or weekends? Because I just cannot carry hard enough to beat 12 ships by myself.

Being the last one alive doesn't me you played well. Plenty of time I see the worst players on the team being the last ones alive because they hid in the back.

I find the Perth fun to play, but it isn't a great T6 imho. Just try to pick one of the top tier BBs to roll with and support/focus fire. It just generally isn't a ship I think can carry a match. So I usually dont play it on weekends due to the need to carry much of the time.

How do I plan ahead to take on 12 ships when I'm the only one left? Plan to go to the beach instead? Play something different?

You aware that those flags only boost Cap XP, not Ship XP, aight?

Either way, the Fiji is worth it. Imma get one eventually. EVENTUALLY.

then youve also failed when its 1v12. You gotta plan more ahead when to ambush when to use the smoke etc.

Glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with Perth. I find it hard to believe I can do well with Leander, but can't seem to make Perth work. It's almost the same ship, just a few mountable changes.

I find the same thing with Danae-Emerald. But at least I know why the numbers are so different. Emerald is just a bigger Danae, but, Emerald regularly sees +2 tier enemies while Danae only sees +1 (for some reason it seems that every time I take Em out, it's +2.) Other of my tier 5's seem to get more even distribution of tier spreads....prob just the way it works out

As to the Perth.....I've found that it is rarely the ship that is bad/poor/pos. The problem has been the way I've played them. That being said, man that pos is driving me crazy

Oh well, sometimes it takes longer to adapt to things then others.....and sometimes not at all...lol

Perth is a solid ship. It gets hurt a bit by its tier 6 MM, but if you plan ahead with the smoke it can be very effective. When the smoke is about to run out you always need to make sure you're angled away and ready to run. With demo expert on the captain you should be able to do decent damage.

T6 MM is really bad now ever since they gave pref MM to tier 4. I used to love tier 6 because I felt it had the best balance but I hardly play it now =(. I tend to avoid weekends and holidays on any online game lol.

I have no issues with Perth. Use that smoke, crawl at 8 knots, and switch up your ammo type to match it with what you're fighting.

*laughing with laryngitis.*

*hacking lungs out now*

User error, does not a bad ship make.
