... which is standard German range on her hydro. It goes out to 5.9km, the same range as Hindenburg's and Kurfurst's hydro, which is over a kilometer longer ranged than Z-46's regular 4.7km hydro. It really makes a massive difference in her ability to perform her role as a DD hunter and makes her way more comfortable to play. I'm enjoying Z-52 much more than the previous destroyers, which were a major struggle to make them perform well.

At first I thought having GermanTM hydro would be OP. But then WG shafted them at the last minute. Maybe the rest of the line should get better Hydro.

Nope. The other DDs Hydro range was that high and it was over performing.

I would encourage you to try playing German destroyers before you pass an opinion on how the hydro is. Being spotted from 15km away when you fire your guns and only having 4 to 4.7km hydro range makes it extremely difficult to use your hydro effectively against other destroyers.

It's not like you can't see it from space before he enters the cap :D

I am sure that 6km hydro will help you when you get spotted from 15km when shooting

The german hydro was fine but WG hates anything that's not russian

The 130mm ru guns have less bloom the the 105mm KM guns :D logic 101
