You drink beer, eat bad food and play first person shooter games. Because you are there an hour or two drinking, games need to be accessible for quick fun. To the point: because I like this game so much, WG has me worried that they might screw it up at any moment. 1) Stealth firing; I keep hearing that WG is trying to get rid of it (ref KM DDs). Stealth fire requires skill, windows are usually small and hard to maintain. Some DD blasting an arc of shells tells everyone where they are and the longer it goes on, the more likely he gets ambushed. 2) Situational Awareness; again, this is skill along with art, math, logic and gut instinct. First everyone was given sit awareness indicator, now a leaked captain perk about a God-like indicator of nearest enemy. This wipes the need for much skill which takes months to develop, and takes a significant chunk of fun out of the game. I personally have no interest in an arcade game that any drunk can walk up and start blasting (unless I'm at that bar, lol). All those bar games have big arrows to the nearest enemy/objective to usher you through the fun. If further steps are taken to dumb this game down and get closer to arcade status, will it make you more or less likely to play? Btw, I've grinded to 6 Tier 10's (2BB/2CA/2DD), I've been on the receiving end of many antics. I think this game strikes a balance for the most part, which leaves room for endless learning and that's what I like about it.

So there's one thing. Actually no. They like the idea of it. They just said that in testing it was too OP so they nerfed it a little. Also said CVs are, and will be the only ships immune to to it. Back to crossing my fingers that it doesn't go through at all, or simply works in a drastically different fashion than what we fear.

I had intended to start a New Year's Eve thread entitled "If there's one thing that would make you quit WoWS forever in 2017, what would it be?" My answer was going to be that rumored "Keen Intuition" magic sign-pointing-at-nearest-ship mother of all DD nerfs.
