Chat Ban For.... No Reason?

Got a question on a chat ban I just got. Says I was suspended from chat for 24 hrs, due to complaints. Only thing is, I've only done 7 battles today, and have (a) barely used the chat, (b) have had good teams and haven't been raging (which I don't do anyways). So why was I banned? I know that when you're reported, it will say in your notifications list, "You Have Been Reported", but I don't have any notifications to that effect? I mean, it's just a chat ban, it's no big deal to me, but I'd at least like to know why I got it. The only thing I can think of is there was an Iowa coming unhinged in chat last match cause I kept setting him on fire (Ibuki ) and that he may have used all his complaints for the day to report me for chat abuse. I don't know. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks

WG's support staff isn't what you'd call first rate. Only warning I've ever gotten was a forum warning about a post that I replied too. THe warning was meant for the OP....

Quite possible that you were reported by the real offender, and support can't tell the difference.

the complaints are probably from the last week not just the last day.

It's automatic if enough people report you. Also, more than one report from the same player doesnt matter it only counts as one.

You probably deserved it for being a professional with integrity, but it was belated. Enjoy your involuntary vow of silence I guess

most likely someone reported you last week and they're just finally got around to reading that report to issue a ban
