I was doing the dodging... the torpedoes came in on the outside of the ship, not the inner side which would be higher out of the water. I don't know how much a Bismarck moves in the turns. I dodged completely the first drop of a cross drop... kept turning, I think two were gonna hit me. No big deal, taken many hits before just like this... then ka-bloom... detonated. Taiho TBs. Never had it happen in a Bismarck. I'm like what the? The carrier guy just types " o" as in oooh... I had no signals flying at all... Only time in nearly 200 matches in that ship that it happened. I've yet to be detonated in Bismarck but I had a pretty epic detonation on an Atago a few days ago! Dodging shells, dodging torps so I could get to the island for cover, sailed near a friendly DD who'd laid smoke, they obscured the Torpedo so by the time they were detected I had time to slow down and avoid 2 out of the 3 that should hit me. This is gonna hit, darn it, oh well, still should have enough health to be effective. Impacted on Turret #2, bam. Detonation.
