Bit disappointed I'll have to wait until the 9th to buy one.  Figured there'd be a $30 version, but the $45 isn't worth it for me.

Yep just took her out. Punchy guns, turns like a battleship, bad DPM. But overall I don't mind my first initial impression. Feels like a Scharn without the armor, and less guns, and slower.

Very nice. Looks just like the shield on the bow of the ship. Yes, you can EARN it for free. I don't have the time or inclination to get it that way. I saved up for quite a while to buy it. Plus the free one does NOT come with the flag.

Did you install the Steering Gear Mod 2? That comes in the Ultimate package. Should help with turns.

I doubt I'll be playing the game enough to grind the XP required to get it.

Do you have a Scharnhorst?  According to LWM and Co, it has better dispersion than the Scharn.  Is it noticeably better?

Oh it's definitely there. It's the most valuable mod I have. Every German ship I own has the "twisted cross" mounted on it. And the Japanese ships have the battle flag with the Sun's rays. I like as much historical accuracy as possible. But I know the Russkies and Euros are still sensitive about historical facts.

obviously ppl can do whatever they want with their money,but in my opinion 99 and whatever in change for in game content is absolute madness i spent 64 and change for tirpitz on day 1 and never felt  like such an idiot for spending that much for a SINGLE ship let alone 100$(rounded) on a tier 6
