It says it starts 12/22, and it is in fact 12/22. When does it start? Is it one of those "6 PM Eastern time" things that WG does?

The date in game varies from the 22nd to the 23rd, AFAIK depending on your timezone, and I'm pretty sure the video's wrong as the article it's posted in states it's the 22nd.

 

Also, pretty sure it's still the 22nd for all of NA's timezones, the event starts 8:30 NST, the easternmost North American timezone.

Not everyone goes to the forums or even visits the website. How hard would it be to put the date and time in the ingame client? Oh, that's right, it wouldn't be hard at all.
