LOL, already posted in another thread, but the Arizona was the first in my fleet to receive this flag.  I found it fitting and proper to honor her so :)

The Zona was the first ship that I put that flag on. Then I Immediately took it out to claim some vengeance.

Please tell me you took out a IJN CV with your Arizona. That would be the sweetest vengeance possible lol.

To honor what, the total stupidity of the US military at the time?  After everything I've read and seen about the attack, including be there, it is a huge reminder on how stupid the US Military was at that time.  It's more of an embarrassment than an honor.  The only thing to remember is those poor solders that died due to their own military's stupidity.

Well then you could also argue that the IJN fleet hit the wrong stuff to begin with. They took out old equipment and ignored fuel. Or that Japan attacked a nation far superior to itself in industrial might. So at the end of the day Pearl was stupid from both sides.

Pearl isn't about top brass or military tactics it's about the people who suffered and people who died. It could also be argued that its also about when this country finally woke up.

I only have 1 ship in port from the attack but will slap the flag on the IJN carriers as I get them because

:hmm:

well, the retribution for this was...

so the "black eye" dealt at Pearl harbor was answered with "total annihilation"

[you have to wonder if & when this type of reasoning will reemerge in modern day and where will civilization be?]

They sucker punched us.

We beat them back to the stone age, completely destroyed an empire they spent a century building, and still to this day have bases on their turf, own a great deal of their land mass and do whatever the hell we want whenever we want.

So tell me again who was really stupid in all of that.

I want a thread devoted to nothing but snipped screenshots of the Arizona getting credited with killing carriers.

You can hear IJN bombers approaching when you mount that flag on arizona

I hear them all the time in mine, flag or not.

I have like 30 games in my AZ and about 70 plane kills, a plane kill ratio of 2.5 in my AZ....

Wow.  I'm mildly surprised and somewhat saddened by this trollish response.  You can believe what you want and feel however you like, but it is my choice to honor and respect  those that died, regardless of the circumstances.

good day sir.

Watching the movie Pearl Harbor does not prove the hypothesis that the inaction of a few local individuals in Pearl made the entire US military "stupid."
