I guess I should finally introduce myself on this forum.  Currently my name is Handomse_Squidward_, I've had a few names of other cringey animu characters related to the GuP world but for now this is something I've settled on.  (Plus y'know, Squidward is underwater, oceans, ships....yarr.  Thought about changing my name to one of the FOG fleets but ehhhh.)

 

Anyways I've low key been playing WoWs for awhile now, probably since it dropped to the public (didn't get into alpha or beta testing, was a CBT for Warplanes).  I'm not particularly good in any class, but I like the game.  The pace is way less twitchy and such than WoT.  Not to mention my family is a naval family as well.  Anyways I hopefully will get gud enough to play more PvP and such.  I try to stay out of it because I feel like I flub up the game.  Also I'm an animu loser so I totally dig the ARP ships.  I'll probably start poasting more here on the forums and slowly transition away from the WoT forums since ehhhhh.

if i could offer some advice, don't be afraid to jump into pvp. the worst that could happen is you have a bad game. that's not something any of us are unfamiliar with. and you can't possibly be any worse than half the current pvp players..

 

my personal opinion is that the best way to get better at pvp is to play pvp. bots just don't move or act the same way as other players. you might not be the best player in the world when you switch over, but none of us were to start. and if you're looking for pointers or even someone to division with to help you out, this is a great place for it.

Dive into PVP like MidnightShamalan said. You really can't be any worse than many others out there. I don't believe PVE prepares you for PVP at all. Sure you get the gunfire trick down (very important) and how to maneuver - against bots. It changes when you start playing against people. Dive into PVP and don't worry about messing up someone's game. Just have fun!
