meh, so, someone sank a bunch  of potatoes.      not to say I can do well against DD in my fiji.   but  I can also do well in my bismarck against most DD as well.

The awful low tier RN CL guns are annoying to use on anything but a point blank, large target.  But starting with Leander, the guns and shells start becoming more capable even against DDs.  I still prefer the HE+AP option and the havoc HE does on DDs but Tier VI+ RN CL AP is at least decent.

RN AP does really nasty things to DDs.  I've two-salvoed a full health Blys in Fiji before.  German AP can do the same thing to high tier destroyers, too.
